February 4, 2007For the really important stuff, most notably FCAT info and weather-related closures, you can expect to receive a pre-recorded phone call from the school. You should also get a recorded phone call when one of your kids is absent if you didn’t send a note ahead of time.
If you are not receiving these recordings from the school (one went out about FCAT Writes on Sunday, Feb 4th) then check with the front office and be sure that they have your correct phone number and that your answering machine is set up properly so as not to block them.
Black Pearl Open House
February 4, 2007The Black Pearl Team represents part of the non-MYP 8th grade class. If you are a Black Pearl parent (ask your kids which team they are on or if they are Black Pearls) there is an Open House Monday night, Feb. 5th from 5-7 in the Media Center where you can chat with teachers and see some samples of Black Pearl Team kids’ projects, etc.
