Johnson recently gave the University of Florida a verbal commitment to continue his baseball pursuits there. A .435 hitter last spring in leading lead the Minutemen into regional play, Johnson was recruited as a pitcher….Add Cocoa Beach’s Julia Nagy to the list of those athletes who signed a letter-of-intent during the recently completed NCAA early period.
Nagy signed this week with the University of Florida’s swim program. She finished third earlier this month in the Class 1A backstroke at the state meet.
